KaiperKit keeps the thesis within the same system as its people, scientific context and day-to-day work. A way to manage doctoral research without reducing it to the file submitted at the end.

A thesis brings together people, scientific structures and operational work over time. KaiperKit records these elements as part of the same doctoral research context.
The finished document.
The scientific and operational context that develops around the thesis.
KaiperKit lets you assign workspace members to a thesis. Each person retains their general scientific role — for example, PhD researcher, PI or Co-supervisor — but the thesis assignment itself does not currently include specific academic roles.
The supervisor field belongs to the member's wider profile, not to Thesis. KaiperKit does not implement a dedicated doctoral supervision, evaluation or approval workflow.

Assigned to thesisThe relationships are many-to-many: a thesis can be linked to multiple research lines, projects, publications and conference participations.
Related scientific direction.
Related research activity.
Publication related to the thesis.
Related scientific participation.
Thesis records a start date and an expected end date. Between them, the status shows whether it is planned, active, completed or paused.
KaiperKit does not automatically generate phases, annual stages, submission milestones or defence dates. Specific deadlines are records created by the team.
These five views exist within the product and display records genuinely linked to the thesis.

28 JUNDocumentation records references and metadata using external URLs; it does not store files or provide version control. Notes are created manually and do not constitute a meetings module.
It does not function as an isolated node or a text editor. It connects doctoral research with its scientific framework and the operational records the team creates during the work.

Owners, Admins, Editors and Viewers have workspace-wide read access to theses; Viewers cannot edit. Collaborators can only access theses where they have an active assignment. Owners, Admins and Editors can create and edit; only Owners and Admins can delete theses, while all three can assign members.
