KaiperKit is built around private access and clear separation of data. Each workspace has its own members, roles and permissions, keeping the activity of different groups and organisations separate. This is supported by European servers operating to high security standards and within the European data protection framework.

Projects, papers, theses, tasks, notes and other activity remain linked to the team’s own workspace.
Individual access
Each member signs in through their own authenticated account. Access to a workspace depends on membership of that team.
Roles and permissions
Access levels allow participation to reflect each member’s actual responsibilities within the research team.

The original file remains in the repository or storage service selected by your team, while KaiperKit retains its reference, context and connections within the research activity.
Your information remains under your organisation’s control. In institutional contexts, retention, return or deletion conditions can be clearly defined as part of the relevant relationship with the institution.
